Elson T. Elizaga and Clara Marie Asuncion Quiblat Gonzales seal their marriage on Obsidian Hill in Huluga, Cagayan de City, Nov. 14, 2004. Huluga is an archaeological site, where Elson found a whale harpoon tip and an ancient Spanish coin.

When most of the guests have reached the top of the hill, Karen Mabao played Pachelbel's Canon in D on a piano borrowed from the German potter Clemens Wirth, and powered by a car battery. Later, Anthropologist Antonio J. Montalvan II gave a brief description of the venue. And Dr. Erlinda Burton sang "A Portrait of My Love" and "Minamahal Kita". Burton is a highly respected archaeologist who used to work with Louis S. B. Leakey. Burton said the marriage was "historical".
